Julia (aka Julianna) Steflik of Binghamton

Julia (aka Julianna) Steflik 91 went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, August 23, 2010 at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband Louis J. Steflik in 1989, her sisters: Justine, Anna and Mary; and her brothers: Andrew and John.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Judith and John Spencer, her grandson Jason Spencer and his wife Patricia and their son, Jack; two sisters: Mrs. Andrew (Helen) Gavula and Mrs. Margaret Vavra and many nieces and nephews.
She attended Johnson City High School and was a retired employee of Dunn-McCarthy, Binghamton.
She was devoted to her family and was a great source of strength and wisdom to them all.
She was avid gardener, bird watcher, walker and a Yankee fan.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home for their respectful and impeccable care.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Thursday 10 am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton with The Very Rev. Michael Kleban officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Town of Dickinson. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home for their respectful and impeccable care.
