Mary (Solak) Sinicki formerly of Binghamton

Mary (Solak) Sinicki 97 fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday evening, February 6, 2010, at Ideal Senior Living Center.
Predeceased by her husband, Anthony Sinicki, brothers, John and Andrew Solak and sister, Ann Wylam and daughter-in-law, Sonya Sinicki.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosine (Al) Renken, and Maureen Sinicki, two sons, Robert (Judy) Sinicki and Richard Sinicki, nine grandchildren, Robert Renken, Cheryl Dorfman, Bruce Renken, Mary Kay Holthus, Laurie Burgess, Michael Sinicki, Jessica Deckard, Debra Rufo, and Leane Sinicki, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two sisters, Julie Bellnier and Mrs. Joseph (Kathryn) Macko, two sisters-in-law, Sophie Gaska and Mary K. Sinicki, nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church. She was a retired employee of the G.A.F. Corporation, Binghamton.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held on Thursday 9am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton and 9:30am at St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street Binghamton where a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rev. Dutko will conduct a prayer service Wednesday 3pm at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Wednesday 3-6pm.

Donations Information

Contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to either St. Michael’s Church or to the S.A.S. Cancer Research Foundation.
