Mary Peworchik

April 14, 1916 - June 23, 2009

Mary Peworchik 93, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday morning, June 23, 2009 at the Willow Point Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband; John Peworchik in 2000, four brothers; Peter, John, Paul and Michael Rogalavich, and four sisters; Vera Michnevich, Olga Engates, Helen Mack and Anna Kocich.
She is survived by two sons; Robert J. Peworchik and his wife, Charito, Philippines and Daniel M. Peworchik of Johnson City, two grandchildren; Lisa West and Robert Peworchik II and his wife, Bea, both of FL, two great grandchildren; Erica and Zack Peworchik, many nieces and nephews and a great friend and neighbor; Beatrice Woodmansee.
She was a member of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church and a retired employee of the G.A.F. Corporation, Binghamton. She made several trips to the Western United States and spent many summers in the Thousand Islands.
