Mrs. Anna Stebela

September 13, 1913 - January 15, 2009

Anna Stebela 95, beloved mother and grandmother, fell asleep in the arms of the Lord on Thursday afternoon, January 15, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Fairview Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael in 1957; her parents, John and Mary Mosko; her sister, Mary Powell; and her brother, John Mosko.
She is survived by her daughter, Annie Constance Devine, Endicott; her son, Michael Stebela and his wife, Jane, Kirkwood; one grandson, Frank George Chernega and his wife Karen, Endicott and their sons Frank Joseph and Nicholas James Chernega, her sister, Olga Barron, Endwell; and nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church and its Ladies Guild. She was a retired employee of the E-J Corporation, Johnson City. Anna was a member of the Johnson City Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Monday 10:30am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton with the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 9am until the time of the service.
