Mr. Ferdinand Tkach

June 07, 1930 - August 03, 2009

Fred Tkach 79 years peacefully fell asleep in the Lord on Monday evening, August 3, 2009 at Susquehanna Nursing Home.
He was predeceased by his wife; Grace Ann (Sherwood) Tkach, his daughter; Laura Ann Tkach and eleven siblings.
He is survived by his sons; Joseph Tkach and his wife, Barbara of Johnson City and John Tkach of Endicott and his sons; Alexander and Nicholas Tkach, his sister; Pauline Krestalude and many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church. He was a self employed contractor/carpenter and a member of Local Carpenters’ Union #281.
He was an Air Force veteran during the Korean War.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Saturday 11am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton with Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko officiating.
